Canon S100 Sample Video

So I just bought a new camera for myself.  I decided to buy Point-and-shoot first before investing again in a better and upgraded SLR.

And my choice – the new Canon S100 camera!  The predecessor of S90 and S95!

One of the latest features is the Full HD recording at 1080/24p 🙂

So let’s see.. so far I am so satisfied with the performance… I will try to upload more reviews about photo in the coming days.

  1. Quoting Ken Rockwell’s Recommendation: (hope this helps you decide)

This is easy: if you already own an S95, you don’t need the S100.

If you don’t have an S95, of course get the S100. If money matters, sure, get the S95 new instead.

The S100 adds a broader zoom range and GPS, and a host of the usual fluff. Otherwise, it’s mostly the same as the S95 as far as photographers are concerned. Higher-resolution HD and GPS doesn’t really matter, unless of course those particular features are important to you.

In summary, sure, get the S95 if money matters, but get the S100 if you need GPS, a rubber grip, 1080 vs 720 video or a slightly broader zoom range.
