On the other hand, some great things sprung from boredom.

For instance, this blog of mine was a product of boredom.  I never would have imagined blogging to be a very big part of my life 2 years after I started it – and I was just bored.

Just recently, some guy in Astoria New York City, probably just got bored by staying inside the house with a blizzard going on the Upper East Coast.  So, he went out and documented the blizzard.  Right now, his video is going viral and is trending in Twitter and Google.  Life gave him lemons and he made a lemonade out of it.  He was bored, and he did something spontaneous, and now, his home-made video/documentary, is sought after.  Making the most out of a bad situation and boredom The short film is called Idiot with a Tripod by Jamie Stuart.

To all of you who are saying “I could do that too” or “I was thinking of doing that too” – well, the difference between you and Jamie Stuart is – he’s bored and he’s a DO-er His videos are being posted everywhere – YouTube, Vimeo etc.  and is going viral and is everywhere

Be inspired.

Being bored and doing nothing for once, can be very calming and inspiring.

Just a thought before I say good bye to a very great year – 2010.  Thank you for making it great.

No sun in Boracay today. So, I will just chill with reggae music. I will probabl surf if the waves gets good. 🙂

We just arrived in Astoria Boracay now and it improved A LOT! Check out the photo below (taken by my BB Curve).

It’s off season now at Boracay and there are less people here than usual. The weather is gloomy! But, for some reasone, I love it more! I can’t wait to just chill, enjoy the beach, the ocean, the waves (if it gets bigger I’ll surf here) :P. Check out my post about surfing in Boracay. As og the moment, I am on a budget. I am just going to enjoy anything that is free as much as possible. That means, I’ll just enjoy the pure shores of this island, take photos, capture the sunrise and the sunset. And maybe capture the moon by the horizon if I can. 🙂

The last time I went here, I saw the moon almost hitting the horizon. It was 2am at that time. I was just supposed to nap for 30 minutes then go out and capture it near the horizon… But I failed to wake up T_T

I hope I would have that second chance tonight. We’ll see 🙂
