After going around City Gate outlet at Tung Chung, we headed off to Tsim Sha Tsui to catch the light show at the Avenue of the Stars by 8pm.  We waited at Deck n’ Beer and drank a huge class of Hoegaarden 🙂

Techie – 8 arms

This picture is WOW!  This is how I’d look like with 8 arms which I wish I have with all the things I do today.  8 arms would come handy while surfing too!

I love the shoes… bought that from Singapore.  (I forgot the name of the shop).  I usually don’t care about brands, as long as I love it, I’ll take it *rawr*

I was supposed to lick the lollipop but it didn’t look nice lol

hmm… wet look love the make-up! and I love the detail of droplets near my eyes ^_^

I thought that was going to be the pinnacle of my newspaper appearances, but to my surprise, Vince also mentioned me in his first article for another publication just last week.

And now, it’s official: My blog and I have been featured in one of the most popular newspapers in the Philippines! Woohoo!

I apologize if I sound overly enthusiastic—I’m just incredibly excited about this feature. It’s a significant milestone, and I wanted to share the news with all of you.

The article was published last Monday. I was out of town at the time, so I asked my mom to pick up a copy for me. When I got home, I requested that she take a photo of it and email it to me. The unfortunate part? The newspaper went missing somewhere in the office!

Luckily, I managed to get a copy the next day (Tuesday), thanks to a tip from Kacy about National Book Store’s back issues, which sells newspapers from at least one day prior.

Satkuru, Aaron, Alvin, Wiliam, Jess, Steven and McBone took me to Melaka :D  This post contains the many things I saw and experienced while we were walking around Melaka.

Me and William waited for Sat, Jess, Steven, McBone, Aaron and Alvin at Asia Cafe.  I ate some Asado Beef noodles I think (you know how heavy of a breakfast eater I am)

and of course, my favorite, Milk Tea 😀

I didn’t know how to spell “Melaka” at first.  There seems to be different spellings like “Melakka” and “Malacca”

Good thing I grabbed a snapshot of this signage.

“Melakka” – is just a misspelling

“Malacca” – appears to be the English word counterpart of the place

(I remembered Malacca from our Asian History Studies in High School)

This is actually a part of the Portuguese ship.  I think they used this river as ports before 😛

Looking back at it now, I could feel again how relaxing it is just to sit under the tree 😀

The old school Portuguese Ship looks pretty.  It’s like I’m being transported into a time capsule or something.

 

When traveling Melaka, make sure to bring light colored clothes and very comfy ones like spaghetti strap, sleeveless tops, shorts and sandals.  It is very hot in here!  I wanted to wear a bikini lol.  Just bring water as well to prevent dehydration.  But remember, do not take too much water too!  You don’t want to have the urge to pee all the time while traveling. 😛
