Geek mode.. and yes, recently after my eye infection thingy, my vision got blurry and had to put on glasses all the time.  🙁

I have been catching up on the comic world lately and I actually just saw the Green Lantern animated movie and I was so excited to watch the live-action film with Ryan Reynolds and my favorite Gossip Girl Blake Lively <3 they’re both so hot!

I had to miss Pole practice for this, but I also couldn’t miss watching it with Krispy Kreme and other blogger friends!  They have a new flavor that’s out only for this season of Green Lantern 🙂 I remembered they also had a special flavor before with Green Hornet.  Check it out coz it will only be available ’til July 10.  I love that it doesn’t taste too sweet.  It’s just the right amount of Dark Chocolate and that alien-looking gooey jelly substance… 😛

 

Krispy Kreme Introduces The Green Lantern Kreme Doughnut

In the brightest day, in the blackest night…you can now enjoy a new Krispy Kreme delight.

There’s a new blockbuster hit about to hit the silver screen and Krispy Kreme is making sure that you can enjoy it with the perfect movie snack.

Check out The Green Lantern Kreme Doughnut, Krispy Kreme’s version of the comic book classic made of rich chocolate dough, smothered with Hershey’s milk chocolate icing, doused with confectioner’s sugar and topped with a dollop of green jelly.

Get in on The Green Lantern craze and pick up a dozen in time to catch the biggest summer blockbuster. This limited edition doughnut is available only from June 3 to July 10.

 

The Mythbusters are getting into action hero mode again and this time with Seth Rogen, star and co-writer of the upcoming 3D action comedy The Green Hornet.  On Friday, January 28 at 8:00pm, the Green Hornet Special episode will feature Rogen and Mythbusters team taking on two exciting scenes from the upcoming January motion picture release.  The Mythbusters Green Hornet special will feature clips from the movie, which also stars Taiwanese R&B sensation Jay Chou.

Long a Mythbusters fan, Rogen wanted to find out what would happen when some of these Hollywood scenes are played out in real life.

The Green Hornet Movie scenes put to a test

The Green Hornet movie is now showing and thanks to our friends from Geiser Maclang and Discovery channel for inviting us for a preview of the Mythbusters special Green Hornet episode and the media screening of the Green Hornet movie itself.  It’s a must-watch movie full of action of witty lines that will make you chuckle.  Check it out in cinemas near you and do watch the Mythbusters Green Hornet special episode on January 28, 2011 at 8pm on Discovery Channel and find out which scenes in the movie are possible to happen in real life.

I won’t give any spoilers but just to give a clue on what would be featured in mythbusters, you will see the Black Beauty (Green Hornet’s iconic car) explosive escape and the elevator cut action happening on the movie.  Pay attention when you watch the movie and make a guess if it can really happen in real life – and find out if your guess is correct on Mythbusters!

Chalk

I supposedly had two shoots for the day.  One is for Chalk magazine.  I won’t tell what it is all about but I am so excited!!! The shoot was a big deal to me and I hope you could give your love by buying the next issue of Chalk magazine for August.  I will be there.  I met cool people too.  It was fun doing the shoot with young, driven people ^_^  You will get to know them on the next issue of Chalk on August 😀

Blog Na Pinoy

I was supposed to go to the blognapinoy shoot but my first shoot ended at 2pm.  I wasn’t able to make it to the other shoot which I am also very excited about!  Check out the awesome Blog Directory project of bloggers here.  I have to wait till the next 2 weeks to have my shoot scheduled.

Shopping

I have 4k worth of Rustan’s GCs 😛 labor of love from being one of the blogger judges of the PLDT myDSL watchpad.   I just got myself dizzy looking around the store.  Shopping without my boy toy isn’t the same.

When it comes to shopping, girls have different preferences.  I used to prefer shopping alone.  But, I just realized that this boy I am dating is a handy tool!  He’s more than the girl friend that would shop with me.  He actually sees and picks the best outfits for me.  Not that he’s gay, trust me he is not lol, he just knows what looks good on me and is very honest about it!

So I stopped shopping because I feared that what happened on Thursday might come back.

Fifth Sense Spa at Kingswood Arcade

It was 3pm and my next appointment was with my lovely bloggers at Krispy Kreme Greenhills at 5pm.  I was super sleepy and a bit tired.  I didn’t want to go all the way to my house to nap so I went for a massage instead :P  I had mine at 5th Sense in Kingswood Arcade (Pasong Tamo cor. Vito Cruz extension).

I used to live here for 6 months back when I was working for Deutsche Bank at The Enterprise Center.  I kinda missed those days… hmm…

Anyway, I always go to this spa because it’s super convenient.  I must say it’s a small boutique spa but I have my favorite masseuses there 😀

I had a very nice relaxation time.  I think I took a quick nap while being massaged.  I thought I caught myself snoring lol.

After the relaxing soothing massage.  I dropped by Krispy Kreme Greenhils to fetch Mica, Lizette and Winston who picked up the 34 (or is it 32) half dozen boxes donated by Chloe (the Krispy Kreme Girl).  My trunk was loaded with Doughnuts *evil laughs* 😛

The main event for our 12th of June is the film showing of Micaela Rodriguez’s films.

Kuya Bunso

Kuya Bunso was Mica’s first short film.  It’s about something close to Mica’s heart and it’s all about autism.  No, Mica is not autistic, his brother is and she often mentions about how he misses his brother on her blog posts once in a while.

Positive

The second movie we viewed was “Positive” .  It’s a story about a wife living a promiscuous life who later on, suffers the consequences of her actions with a twist. 😛

I was a “doctor” in this movie lol.

12th of June

The last movie that was shown was Mica’s 2nd movie.  It’s about the life of a Virtual Assistant who celebrated her independence day on June 12 (same as Philippine’s National Independence Day) by finding and losing her true love at the same day.

This short film is an entry to “Your Indie Film” contest.  I humbly ask for your help to vote for the 12th of June here. Wee!

Pasta love!  It was pasta overload and is perfect timing because I was craving for some Pasta lovin’  Blogger’s attached the Pasta Buffet table 😛

Krispy Kreme urges everyone to be responsible and vote on May 10.  Since this year’s elections bring a new process of voting, Krispy Kreme also gives you a feel of voting every time you order your favorite doughnuts and drinks on stores nationwide.

This time, when you order on any Krispy Kreme branch, they will hand out a piece of paper that lists every items they have on the Menu.  For your convenience, you can order by shading the doughnuts, drinks, or dozen deals you want on your own… just like when you vote for the 2010 elections.

Looks like a real ballot yeah? Totally something we could practice on 🙂
