Take note that when I do make a review of any beauty product, I always emphasize the fact that what could work so well for me, might not work all good for someone else and vice versa.  I also try to describe my experience in general and using my senses.

Since our skin concerns vary, Facial Care Centre offers a personalized skin program based on your specific needs.

Optilight – For women who want to counter the effects of prolonged sun exposure such as freckles and sun spots.  This treatment yields results 3 times faster than any other forms of IPL.  Clearer, blemish-free skin may be achieved in no time.

UltraFace – For those who wish to get rid of chubby cheeks and sagging jowls without resorting to risky surgery.  This treatment is the first of its kind to combine ultrasounda nd radio frequency.  This treatment breaks down fat cells and gently recontours and tightens the skin for a slimmer, more proportionally-shaped face.

LaserLight Soprana – For thos who wish to achieve hair-free perfection.  The latest laser hair removal treatment that can permanently get rid of unwanted hair anywhere in the body.

I spoke with a consultant before I decide what treatment to get.  After quickly examining my face, she concluded that I have whiteheads and blackheads.  It’s hormones, stress, the weather – yep a combination of those that’s the culprit.  With that, I need to get rid of dry skin that clogs and blocks dirty oils in my pores.

Repachage

This is the treatment that the consultant recommended.  It’s a very luxurious facial that’s both pampering, repairing and recharging.  It’s a mix of sugar, spice and everything nice (figuratively speaking).  Repechage is a 4 layer treatment from New York that nourishes, rejuvenates and stabilizes oil glands. It improves skin tone and soothes the skin, leaving it looking and feeling refreshed and invigorated for days.

It was very cool – and really relaxing.  If you want, you can have your eyes coered too – which is really really relaxing, but for claustrophobic folks like me, we usually want to leave the eye area uncovered.

What can I say?  Overall, it was really a relaxing experience.  Very luxurious and pampering indeed!  This would be a perfect regular treatment for your skin!  This would definitely give more life to your skin – giving you extra glow and that healthy feeling.  When all this was being done, I fell asleep while waiting for the mask to work.

I really don’t get it, I tried a few and to me, it was just some normal dessert.

Oh, little did I know that I just haven’t tried a really good macaron! Seriously!

So when Cheryl of littlerunningteacher.com told me about Mrs. Graham’s Bakery that makes macarons with different unique flavors, I was sure to give macarons another try.

I am so fond of watching acrobats and the circus, minus the clown because I don’t like clowns.  But, in all fairness their clowns were too funny for me to get awkward in my seat!

DID I JUST SAY FUNNY? funny, entertaining and inspiring (for me) as a pole athlete and fitness enthusiast.  The artists are awesome and I like dreaming big.  For my fitness goal, my dream is to join the Olympics (when they include Pole in the future) or join an elite Circus like Cirque du Soleil.  I’m one ambitious girl but I’ve got nothing to lose if I dream big, don’t I?

The very controversial Monster Ball concert still pushed through despite protests.  I am one of those who went to watch the spectacular production that Lady Gaga and the crew has prepared.  IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT! 

The SM Mall of Asia Arena used for the first time to house the Lady Gaga Monster Ball concert.

I wasn’t prepared for the concert coz I decided to go watch just the day itself. Good thing I have some extra clothes by my car. The best of how I can look for a concert lol. And the bandage wrapped around my arm to hide that nasty bruise I just got. I hope it rather looks edgy and mysterious. Like DJ Mike was so eager to find out what’s wrapped inside the band.

Lady Gaga was quite emotional for the duration of the concert.  After singing the first few parts of the controversial “Judas”, the crowd cheered and danced and she said “Oh, you like this song huh…”  The song “Judas” is one of the songs people are protesting to saying it’s blasphemous etc. But Gaga explained that this song is just a metaphor of loving someone despite them betraying you.  And hasn’t this really happened to some of us in real life? 

There were threats from protesters saying they would sue Gaga if there were any acts of indecency and any form of actions that are unnaccpetable to the Christian community.

I was bracing myself the entire night for something weirder than life GAGA acts but hey – I’m not worried about GAGA, I’m more worried about other pressing matters our country is facing and the criminals on loose and not to mention, the very corrupt government.

I think all these protests just gained Gaga more noise, more spotlight to showcase her “REAL SELF” and she says (here we go, Lady Gaga Quotes from Monster Ball tour Manila 2012)

U.S. Embassy Manila and the Cultural Center of the Philippines just the visit of an American contemporary ballet company, Trey McIntyre Project, to the Philippines. The group will work collaboratively with the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Dance Group and conduct master classes in ballet, modern dance and technical direction in Manila and Iloilo City during a ten-day visit to the Philippines.

Trey McIntyre is one of the most sought-after choreographers working today. He has created a body of more than 90 works for companies such as American Ballet Theatre, Stuttgart Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, New York City Ballet and Ballet Santiago (Chile). He formed his acclaimed Trey McIntyre Project in 2008, based in Boise, Idaho and has since focused on creating works that explore the human experience in transformative and captivating ways.

Trey McIntyre Project’s visit to the Philippines includes two showcase performances:

In search for the good life, I can’t help but stress out the importance of eating right and exercise.  Finding the right diet and the right exercise for you is important.  As for me, dancing is my way of keeping fit.
