Bugis Street where you can find lots of great fashion buys, lots of durian and drinks and pasalubong to take home.  They also have a s3x shop inside too lol

I can’t help but notice great architectural structures in Singapore.  The buildings are eye-catching.  This is the La Salle building.  I think it’s a new mall, not sure though.

My favorite place to eat Duck Rice and Char Siew Rice (Roasted Pork / Asado Rice).  This is Leang Seah street corner Northbridge Road.

Marina Bay Sands is finally up!  They also have that cracked egg thingy on the side which bursts with inviting disco lights that reach the sky at night.

I just realized, you can watch F1 from a boat or a yacht!  Do they sell tickets from this angle? lol

Good thing I brought my 70-300 zoom lens!  I was so far from him.  The major change they had for this year was to issue a limited number of wristbands that will give you access to the Fan Zone area.

It’s like a VIP section.  It’s free but you have to line up for the access. T_T

Another Renault car.  It’s not hard to take photos of the Renault car, it’s so photogenic.  It reflects more light than any other cars and my pictures with it are always clear.

That was a hard one.

Anyway, I really miss this place.  The resto-bar is really called “Il Ponticello” but the people just call it “Ponti”. Aside form the good food, I always love the crowd here too.  It’s a temple for my dancing soul 🙂 I haven’t been here in a since we moved offices to The Fort.  I was so glad we came here for a pitstop.  This place is really known for its bar and night life.  But people don’t usually know that they have good Italian food here.  Well, I haven’t really tasted everything but I love the pizza and the pasta here!

This is the Arrosto D’Agnello.  It’s a Roman specialty of over-baked leg of lamb in red wine sauce.

Now that is definitely Vince’s taste 🙂

Rev&Rave drink: Bacci made of Vodka, Tequilla and Orange

It’s a yummy drink and tastes just like juice :)  You’ll feel the alcohol kick in the middle though **oh lowdy**

I was feeling a little bit hyper because this was the night before my trip to KL.

This is also the drink that could give me (or you if you buy the same drink) a chance to be sent to Singapore to watch the F1 Signapore Grand Prix 2010!  You know why you want to go.  You would get to see the legendary Michael Schumacher or your other favorite F1 driver in the Parade of the Drivers before the race starts.

I watched the F1 Grand Prix before and saw my favorite F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen.  Watch this video and hear me scream.

Imagine you’re 5 meters away from Schumi… *faints* I haven’t seen him in person yet BTW and I’m hoping I would get a chance to win too.  It would be FAB!  I will tell my grand children all about him!!!

Not a fan eh?  You don’t have to be.  When I was in college, I wasn’t a fan of F1 but I thought it would be cool to see this most luxurious event LIVE.  I never thought I would ever really get to watch it live… I mean, tickets were expensive and you need to go out of the country!  But when they announced that they will have the first night race in Singapore, I really took the chance to watch it! Singapore is so near the Philippines and if you take advantage of the seat sales, you’d get cheaper tickets.  It’s an event you’d be proud you experienced.

F1 Signapore is a big feast.  You would also get to see stars performing mini-concerts around the area (included in the ticket).  So far, I have witnessed “The Wailers (THAT WAS THE BOMB) reggae love” and the Backstreet Boys.  This year, its the diva’s turn – that’s right Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Adam Lambert (he’s a Diva, right?), also Daughtry and many more.

Usually, the race is only 1 week apart from each other (if not 1 week after another).  But then I guess travelling from an Asian continent to Europe (including all the big F1 toy cars) would seem to mean more time for preparation.

Michael Schumacher is the favorite topic for Formula 1 and his comeback this 2010 after 3 years since his retirement.  He has not been doing as good as everyone expected.  For now, his performance is just at par with the average.  This is of course not too bad as he has not been racing since 2007 and he only prepared for this from the beginning of the year 2010 for this championship.  He is currently ranked 10 on driver’s championship after the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai.

He gained only 10 points since the F1 games have begun but he said he had no regrets of joining the F1 again.  He is by the way driving for Mercedes now and not red hot Ferrari.  You could be thinking that it’s probably the car… but his team mate Nico Rosberg has been doing well than him.  In fact, in the Chinese Grand Prix, Nico bagged third place in the podium.

Oh well, enough about Schumi.  He managed to be 3rd fastest in the Friday practice for the Spanish Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, the Red Bull team dominated the practice.  The Red Bull team is currently in the 3rd place on constructor’s championship after the Chinese Grand Prix.  Their performance is well and for the Spanish Grand Prix 2010 practice, Sebastian Vettel once again speed away with a sub 1 minute – 20 second lap with no one else getting in within half a second of him.

 

 

The Red Bull duo were comfortably the fastest cars around the Circuit de Catalunya in the second practice session on Saturday.

Sebastian Vettel was the only driver to set a sub-1m 20s lap and no-one got within half a second of him and team mate Mark Webber.

Reasons:

1.  I was surfing every weekend so I wasn’t able to watch any.

2.  Even if I catch up and see the results online, I still don’t have the luxury of time to blog about it.

3.  I am so caught up with my current project migration in our company.

4.  I izzzz jinxed!  Everythime I watch F1 2009, the Brawns win… all the time… I would love for them to win (but not as much as my team Ferrari) but them winning consecutively makes F1 b-o-r-i-n-g!  I missed watching the Chinese Grand Prix and the Redbulls win… every time I don’t watch F1, Brawns don’t win…

I regretted not having seen the Hungarian Grand Prix… this was the grand prix that Massa got into a critical accident.  He’s okay now but he can’t go back to the race track in the near future…

anyway, not me but Michael Schumacher!  He’s un-retiring!

I am just so ecstatic with him coming back and that would mean I would see him in the Singapore GP!  I would see a legend!
