Manila Signature Dishes Quattro
I don’t drop by Quezon City a lot these days but I used to frequent in Timog area before when I was still living in Commonwealth. I used to go to this Reggae bar before a lot but they closed down already. Sometimes, we just hang out at Quattro. I have been here often and I have tasted mostly their pulutan on the menu such as sisig, calamari and the usual stuff.
It’s a nice thing to explore Timog and Quattro again and try their Manila Signature Dish set.
Quattro has bands every Weekdays. On weekends, this place is packed.
Fried Laing
This is their appetizer. I think it would also make a healthier pulutan with the veggies inside, this surely will give you a dose of fiber. Also, the hind of coconut oil just melts in your tongue.
Spicy Chicken Teriyaki
Vince and I are not fond of spicy food but a little hint of it is good for our taste buds. Vince loves chicken teriyaki and this dish, together with the garlic rice served on the side did not disappoint.
Langka Panna cotta
I love jackfruit. It’s just very sweet and very fiber-y! This is one unique flavor for a Panna Cotta. They have other flavors of Panna Cotta that you can try.
Baked Fish
compliments from the kitchen, they gave us extra dish to try like this baked fish which I LOVE! I love fish especially when it’s fresh and well-made. It is healthier too. The sauce they put is on the sweet, sour and salty side. The hind of sour made the flavor very playful.
Fresh Bibingka
This, you can order on the side. It is probably one of the best bibinka I have ever tasted. They usually prefer eating it hot, but I liked it better when it’s a bit cold. It’s just probably me
Macho Mugs and Gwapito Mugs
Quattro is known for their Macho Mugs. It became popular that they also made a big mug for cocktails called Gwapito Mugs.
Technically, the Macho beer mug is 1 Liter and is affordable
This place is really a great venue to hang out with friends, catch-up and unwind.
